djLewisOne emerged from the Phoenix underground in the early 90s as an aesthetics artist, constructing sensory-dense party environments while studying at ASU.

With DJ Eddie Amador and Blaz Gallegos, he refined a turntable-driven practice built from punk, new wave, and industrial force. Repetition. Disruption. Live remixing. Live remixing. Clubs & parties were treated as systems to be pushed, bent, & rewritten in real time with HardCuts & ControlledNoise.

International residencies followed across Canada, Japan, the Philippines, Germany, & the UK. Collaborations included private events with RuPaul, technical radio DJ for Paul Oakenfold & remixes for Madonna.
